Did you know children are increasingly entering school with poor fine motor skills due to lots of screen time?
Luckily, little kids love to color, draw, and trace. All these activities build your child's fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and finger strength.
Help your toddler or preschooler develop their important fine motor skills with these Thanksgiving themed pre-writing practice pages!
Your child will love these cute Thanksgiving design and tracing so much you'll finally get a minute to yourself without resorting to screen time.
You will receive seven pages with dotted lines for your child to trace.
The first three pages feature increasingly difficult patterns to trace. These can be traced with a crayon or cut with scissors. You can also have your child fill the path with manipulatives, like counting bears, pompoms, or buttons. This provides fine motor practice to toddlers who can't trace all of the lines yet. It can also add interest for older preschoolers. Count the objects with them as they go along!
Laminate the pages for repeated use with a marker. You can also also cut these pages into strips, laminate them, and hole punch them to use with a binder ring as an easy go-bag activity to keep your child busy and learning in the car or while waiting at appointments.
Pages 4-7 (shown in the third image) have a long dotted path to trace. These can be traced with a finger, crayon/marker, or you can have your child move a small manipulative along the line. For an even greater challenge, have them use tongs or tweezers to hold the manipulative as they trace the line.
What other ways can you think of to use these tracing pages?
Because this is a digital item, no physical item will be mailed. Even though this is a digital item, I offer a 14 day money back guarantee. My preschooler loves these tracing worksheets and I'm confident yours will, too.
